John Reich Journal

  The John Reich Collectors Society has issued an index of the first 31 issues of the John Reich Journal. The index is a valuable tool to help researchers find articles previously published in our journal. The index is arranged to search for articles by authors last name and also by the subject matter of the article. 

There is a short history of the organization written by our Treasurer, Russ Logan. Russ is one of the founding fathers of the club and his recollections of the early days are enjoyable reading for us all. Information on the availability of back issues of the journal is supplied for those wishing to order any of the remaining copies. A listing of the award winning articles from the past issues is included next. This is followed by a listing of the officers of the organization. 

The subject index follows and is broken down into the following sections: 

  • General Information
  • The Mint
  • Half Dimes
  • Dimes
  • Quarters
  • Half Dollars
  • Dollars
  • Gold
This is followed by the author index. The authors are listed alphabetically with the title of their article followed by the whole number of the issue in which it if found and the page number of the article. 

This information is then followed by the by-laws of the organization and a membership application. 

We are very proud of the work done in producing the index. Researchers have been spared having to refer to each individual issues table of contents to find that elusive article they needed. What once took many minutes now can be accomplished in only a few seconds.
